The latest advertisement from American Eagle featuring Sydney Sweeney becoming controversy. The viral ad has been circulating media and it becomes a heated discussion to many of the politicians. She is well know for her appearance on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), Nocturne (2020), Night Teeth (2021) etc.
The ad from American Eagle shows Sydney Sweeney on denim costume ranging from a modern “Canadian tuxedo” (matching blue jeans and jacket) to super baggy jeans paired with simple white tees. The look on her face shows the the campaign’s playful and bold vibe. So the campaign which comes from the tagline of ad says “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”and “Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color”.
The tagline and overall appearance of the ad becomes controversial as it gives many people feel it as sexual innuendo, white supremacy and some says it’s a promotion of eugenics.
The American Eagle and Donald Trump comes supportive to Sydney Sweeney after the Ad becomes a topic to many people. The Trump says she’s a republican and now he thinks the American Eagle ad is fantastic.
